Dyno figures

General Discussion

alex at lae racing has dyno'd my 12 & 9 , when he did the 12 he remapped it (fuel injection) and it was a different bike afterwards , the previous owner had set it up for dragracing .
the beauty of a dyno is they can get accurate fuel air mixture readings from a stationary bike , it does not allow for ram air though .

Hey Fab - when he dyno'ed ya 9, did he tune / rejet the carbs? And what did it cost? I cannot really do the airbox mod on my 7 without rejetting, and I want a professional to do it on a dyno but have been put off because of the cost.

when he dyno'd the 9 ,he found it did not need jetting or oil.
all he did was check some technical stuff about air /fuel ratio etc, and said "wow ! lemme onit yakarn"!
said it was alreadt pretty well sorted, so i just ride it as it is
cost was around $150 ,& jetting will not cost too much more.
