It's pretty much perfection for riding down here today.
Obviously Mal is too busy riding to answer.. .

Ok picked up the bike went through stuff with the tech guy heard it but just too much to digest straight away.Well if anyone thinks any bike of any description is going to give this bike a run there batshit crazy.Ok so not over 4,000 for first 600 ks well a quick run from 1st to 4th with quick shifter on even at that rev range is fucken what fuck me. I have traction control on 3plus did manage to get it to cut in coming out of a couple of corners.Even though its heavy it steers really well I have to soften the suspension as even set in the middle on all settings it wants to buck me off over bumps.Bumps well the throttle is that touchy and snachy hit a small bump and all of a sudden your doing 30ks more than you were a split second ago,and that is even in 3rd or 4th.When I did get a little more game it was not shy in pushing my but right back into the stopper on the rear cowl and I think my arms have been stretched a little as well.Going on tonights ride this bike no matter who you are and how good you are demands respect and I for one will be giving it that and slowly working my way down the nine different traction controls one by one,i do seriously doubt I will ever turn it off totally as well as reduce the engine braking at the same time any one who gets to that stage is bat shit crazy and wont be around for very long.So Off to Reefton tomorrow to get used to the way she corners . :D :D :D

Love the face Mal. Been watching some reviews, agrees with what the motorcycle journalists are saying, most exciting bikes to ride ever created.

Have fun! :D

Mate....sounds like you've got one hell of a motorsickle on your hands. Every review you read or watch absolutely raves about them so I can't imagine what they're like to ride compared to other bikes.

Probably a bit like getting into a Holden after a Ford................................. :P

Well the only thing that is crap is the paint ,looks great but don't sneeze on it,1 scratch from boot over cowl, one scratch also on tail from knee slider, and some tiny ones from using a migro fibre cloth and plexus not sure how that happens ,anyway apart from that its like nothing else.At the moment my corner speed is slower than on the zx*9 ,this is primarily because of the really snatchy throttle, it did get better the longer the day went so its just a matter of time. . I have reduced the traction control down 2 levels so instaed of 3 plus its now 3 minus so we will see how that goes. Modes are 3+ , 3 and 3- ten 2 + 2 and 2- then 1 = 1 and 1- so I got a fair way to go,then of corse you can turn it off. Personally I think it would be unrideable with it all the way off, then if you survive that you can also reduce the engine braking as well. Might as well just buy your coffin before you do that. Licence threat is the quick shifter ,just getting pushed back like some mouri bouncer has smashed you in the chest time and time again.Of to have a bourbon now ;)
