is there one that works for parking fines......i got slugged 105.00 for parkin at sandy beach on Aussie Day even though it was all day parking(didnt even occur to me ya had to buy a ticket at the beach)

A mate of mine just beat a speeding ticket as there was no sign advising the speed limit and he assumed it was a different speed zone. He was cruising at 101 in the middle of nowhere, after cutting through from another major road via a dirt track. He was more than stunned when he got pulled up and advised his license was being suspended for 6 months as it was actually a 60 zone! That extra 1km/h made the difference between 6 months (automatic) and 3 months (accumulation of points).

He went to court and they knew they didn't have a case.. so they offered him 80 in a 60 zone instead. He said words to the effect of 'thanks but no thanks... if you'd not been such a (friendly person) and offered something better at the site I might have taken it, but now I'm here I'm taking my chances'

Anyway the long and the short is that the whole fine was thrown out and he doesn't have to pay a thing... and this is a man with about 3 pages of traffic history.
