Team Moto - 1st Impressions

do u REALLY wanna get me started on these fukfeatured assholes!!!!! I think its about 10 days to go & it will Be 12 fuking months i have been waiting for my crash repair to be finished, & I'M STILL FUKEN WAITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not 2 mention that they done a full major service & the fork seals as a bit of compensation..........the fork seals done 1500k's if that b4 they started fuking leaking again.......WILL MY NIGHTMARE EVER EVER EVER FUKING END>...AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I attempted to give them $3000 for a bunch of new riding gear including helmet, gloves, leathers, etc and they proved very difficult to deal with. My mate across the road helped me in a jiffy.

give it time admitedly tony in the service dept. doesn't seem like a bad bloke, but the establishment just seems 2 not give a shit......incompetence sux ass in my opinion

I've found team moto at albion (bne) to be quite good but yes ... very sales oriented. Team moto in cairns, however, charged liked wounded bulls to service my bike and did, at best, a slap happy job that i was less than impressed with.

As someone else said ... over the years I have found it not to be the dealership ... but the people in it that make the diff. When you find someone that offers the sort of service you need ... stick to them ... even if it does cost a few more dollars.

We use City Yamaha for the FZ1, and now Whales for the Z750, neither of whom have the best reputation, but better than Team Moto!! At least with City, as Jeff works next door to them and knows the guys well, the work is always up to standard.

I can only try to understand the pain and frustration you have been through. But I have to agree that it's the people that make a business what it is. I've actually just bought a new ZX-10 (my third Ninja) from Albion (Midtown) and couldn't be happier. When I was later contacted by their 'follow up department', I gave two reasons for purchasigng from Midtown - Tony Hxxxxx and Steve Dxxxxxx, neither of them saleman.

Tony (Cheif Mechanic) is a straight shooter, and so is Steve (After Sales) although, he has recently moved to Procycles at virginia. Steve is a superbike racer who is always helpful at the track and even set up my suspension in his own time at no cost to me, and both make Team Moto Albion what it is. Without them, I'd have to go elsewhere.

My advise would be, try to build some rapport with the people who can help you, and they'll look after you. And steer clear of the salesman.

Well, after filling me with insincere apologies yesterday and promising to "rush it through" today and calling me when its ready, I received no call from them and so called them myself at 5.30PM to find out what was happening. They are going to start on it in the morning! Another day wasted. And its not like a dropped it off unannounced either. I called them on Monday and they told me to come Wednesday. I went on Tuesday and ordered the part myself and now it'll be Friday before its fixed if I'm lucky.

So now it has sat in the Team Moto's service area for 3 days for a job that takes 1 hour to complete.

Not happy.

If so, why not just take it back...

My exact thoughts I-K. I'm thinking of going there in the morning, taking the part and the bike and having someone competent fix it.

If you take the part, you'll have to pay them for it.

If the bike really is ridable, take it, then order the part through someone else.
