Hope all goes well with the repairs and insurance. maybe some extra $$ for compensation.
Glad to hear that your injuries are not too serious. Take it easy for a few days.
Also a BIG nice one to Shiftys mate (Greg - you think :D ) for turning round and helping you, hope he does join up.

Good to hear all is well. From memory, my thumb also was really sore when I dropped the ER...not exactly sure how or why???

You might wish to consider an exorcist, however... :P

I am glad that you are ok Hemi!
Here's hoping that the driver learns something from this.....ie to open her eyes and look around her when she is driving!
Cheers,
Anne

Yeah that sucks mate, but at least you didn't come out of it too bad. Hope the bike gets sorted quickly.

Well my leg and thumb are feeling a bit better today, might still get the xrays on thumb in case but I would say its just bruising n minor ligament damage. Nothing I haven't done before playing sport anyway.

Problem is I guess I cannot really go and do anything to the bike until I know what is happening with the whole insurance deallie etc. I have heard that the at-fault person's agency will often try to stall and go to court etc. if the not-at-fault (me) person doesn't have insurance. I hope this isn't the case this time.

All I want to do is get out riding again. Shouldn't take to long for my thumb to heal up enough to hold the handlebar.

Jezaz "Strawbs" i go away for ONE weekend & you pick it for the "Baptising Bitumen Surf" Mate your form SUX, I wanted to be present with the camera so It could be Time Capsuled in the KSRC hall of Fame.

As for the "Turf Surf", It sounds a pretty Half Arsed effort anyway. So i guess we didnt miss much

I'm sending "T Bone Steaks" over via a Comet Wet pack, I'm sure they'll come in handy in this your time of need.

Mate, shame to hear that you had an accident on such an unmarked example ;)

Get a couple of quotes to have the bike repaired, send them to her insurer with a letter of demand and they'll send you a cheque. Prettymuch if they were at fault and there was no dispute you'll be paid out without a drama.

Any stress let me know, I do this for a living!

And Brett, sorry I didn't do a better job of it, I have not heeded your training well my master. Next time I will make sure I cannot see more than 10 metres in front of me, cannot touch the ground on the bike and am all whacked out on scooby snacks.  And don't worry bout the steaks, the dog has lotsa food here ATM.
