He was reported today as saying it was his fault but between the dust and late finish the dusk sunlight hampered his vision. He admitted fault but said he just didnt see it until too late.
well that is is good if he's shed light on the circumstances. i actually think lowndes is an ok bloke, he just drives a holden so i have to hate him

Com on guys, you have all been on the race track. When your traveling that fast you rely on the other bloke being predictable. Frosty Farked up and outbraked himself into the corner and had a shit exit, CL was going for drive and wasnt expecting Frosty to still be sitting there (watch the replay). CL admitted fault but he also said he had to brake bloody hard to only tap him e.g. could have been alot worse. If your committed to a corner and at full tilt you cant just turn the wheel more and anyone who thinks you can obviously hasnt been on a race track very often.
As for Whincup, what else could he do, the crew cheif admitted he had stuffed his calculation and only told Whincup with 3 laps to go, what else could he do??? Come in and refuel??? He went for it and it made for a great race, good on him. Oh and Frosty said he would have if he was in the same situation if that makes you blue oval boys feel better.
