Good comparison, except the Kwakka has water-cooling. It's basically a 3/4 faired ER-5 with a rear disc.

pretty close
the ER5 is a naked GPz500r
and
FWIW
the GPz500 has to be one of the oldest bikes still on the market...anywhere
they were first released in 1983.!

my mate Bill has a 1985 model GPz500
you could say, its a tad long in the tooth
GOTTA LUV the 12R!!

Thats just wrong that is could rebadge it and call it something else or make it a vee twin but a inline twin ninja. :?
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Something we need to remember is just how good motorbikes are. Why discontinue or redesign something that fulfils it's intended purpose and continues to sell?

Oh, and watch the age comments, I'm only 5 years older than my bike!

Its like clothing fashion with womens clothes and atm to my horror men wearing pink shirts as they thought was cool in the 80's.

It looks as though Nakeds are making a resurgent come back which is not a bad thing as I am a naked convert with the Z1000. But the GPZ500 is a dog ugly bike, looks like an enlarged version of the GPX250.
