my damn bike won't start

last winter on my old bike i was working nightshifts so was getting out to my bike at about 7am or so and trying to start it. One day it was too cold to start so i had to move it to get it into the sunlight so that it could warm up a little bit before starting it. For the rest of that winter i either drive or parked my bike inside the workshop at the back of the building (it's good being mates with the security guards )
