Mate, from what I can see the facts are that Dave can't get a booking 'cause of how some people from our club behaved... :?

Whilst I didn't stay with the rest of the KSRCians, I did stay at the same park. This is the first I've heard about it and was never aware of any complaints.

Heck, even when we trundled off to bed, we didn't hear anything from our side of the park.

he [ the owner ] doesn't like groups. he wants families and not goups of beer drinking blokes etc that like to sit around at night . Having said that he never said a word or came around to complain ... They did hand up on Duane the first time he tried to book for the supers when he mentioned a group of people .. Then Dan and I book for them . He's strange he must have his reasons It is after all a bike weekend ..
There was no wheelies ,fights ,damage etc

Mick
I am there every year with Dave. We had more numbers than usual and may have been a bit louder.

We were not that bad, had one complaint all weekend and that was on the last night. If this guy was anymore up tight, he would have disapeared up his own ass.

A couple of the guys upset someones dad, by nailing his daughters (yes they were of legal age)

There was an odd mix this weekend, with school holidays, permenants and people down for the bikes.

Im a bit shocked and pissed off about the decision. I would like some more input from those who were there.

BTW: We had wives and kids there too.

I'm still pissed but have calmed somewhat...
It is a caravan park not track side so theres a lot of ppl there because its supposed to be quieter.!!
As far as the owner complaining, would you tell 15 to 20 pissed guys to shut up..???
Anyway, my guess is he is more pissed of about the amount of ppl who stayed and didn't pay. Not sure if it was made clear but camping there is per person not per site and according to him, quite a lot didn't pay.!!

The last thing I want is KSRC getting a bad name anywhere, let alone me personaly.. and guess what... we both have, including me personaly as they know me.!

If what I was told is correct and you may not have payed and would like to make amends or you would like to defend KSRC to the caravan park owners I suggest you call them and sort it out it that way, and nicely.
Theres is no point doing it on here..

and thats exactly what I was told... Not being there thats all I can go on...

We rang and asked to book 3 sites, when we told em who we were the tone suddenly changed..
It couldn't have been good for them to turn away business.. and regular business...
That has never happened to me before.... (except for this motel in Switzerland, but thats another story..:-))

For farks sake......we didn't cause no trouble and most were in bed before midnight.....sure we drank a bucket full of piss and probably talked louder than we do when sober.
We had 1 yes one, who asked us at 11.30 to moderate the language because his kids were still awake( this was the same guy who sat there at 5:30am listening to classical music which woke me up)
I've been on worse behaved school trips

The bottom line is that the guy wants families only, if you call and book 1 site in your name there will be no problem.........and that is how we booked for the supers !!

I know me and Ron paid too........we paid him what he asked for and not a cent less

But hey " a good friend will be there to bail you out of jail, A true friend would be sitting next to you saying "man we fucked up""

This is why Dave's pissed off. He wasn't there.

the last few times i've heard of bookings (on other groups) everyone basically booked their own campsite and generally tried to stay near each other. (i.e. i asked to go near #18 as thats near where my mates were)

Well I know Mario fixed the guy up for the 3 of us on the 1 site, cause I remember mario saying it was like $20 extra for rob.

As for the other sites, well i wouldn't have the foggiest idea.. Unless he believes the 4 people that were sitting with us (Jase + 4) were staying in our sites, then obviously they're incorrect, perhaps it's is a misunderstanding otherwise my only guess is that everyone paid, perhaps he feels not for the correct number of people per site...

As for the behaviour, I can only think of that 1 situation mentioned above.

There was some carry on out the front of the park or around the corner with some car crashing into what sounded like garbage bins, which we were all woken by.

We may have been abit boistrous but certainly now noiser than when dave was down for last years GP. Mario was only pissed and carrying on 1 (sat or sun) night... not the thur, fri, sat and sunday nights he carried on last year :P hahahahaha Sorry Mario :P

So it sounds like were back to the issue Duane had with trying to make a group booking.. Only difference being he knows the name of a group he can identify to try to stop group bookings.. Hi call i guess, but he doesn't seem to get fully booked, so his loss at the end of the day.

Perhaps a block a land for the weekend... Toilets would be the only 1 issue..

A real friend wouldn't let you get in the trouble that would end up in jail.. and unfortunately I wasn't there... and yes that pisses me of too.!!..
