Just don't do it on a hot day! When the washing liquid heats up, the fumes will sting your eyes.

Thanks for the many advises. I gues one of the trick would be putting some soap/shampoo as suggested. I used to do this with my car which did not have air conditioning to blow the fog away. The only catch is it is making a bit difficult in night riding. At the moment I just open up the helmet a bit and that does the job, also trying to breathe down the mouth but uncomfortable. Cheers.
