I bought a Yamaha! Well I put a deposit on one anyway....
It's an 03 model R1 racebike, I am going Superbike racing!

The guy I bought it off is a legend, I have been buying my used slicks from him, and he has given me lots of good advice (including stuff like "you aren't ready for this bike"
) The bike has cut some impressive laps with him on it, so I just have to learn to ride fast myself now, no excuses left. My good old brother is lending me the money, so a big thanks to him.
I really wanted to get hold of a 10R to run in superstock, but this came up at the right price. And superbike racing is just that much cooler (and scarier). But I still have the GPX to qualify me for KSRC member status. And no I am not painting it green. Orange maybe, but I am thinking white (current colour) with orange stripes / bits.
I just cannot wait to get on it and hold the bugger flat!!
