licence suspension and track day participation

Postby varden » Thu Nov 24, 2005 10:43 pm

woops i may have done something a bit silly, and there is a good chance that its going to cost me my licence.

With a suspension-of-licence on the horizon, track days may be my only fix, but Champions ride days need to see a drivers licence upon sign in.

What will i do???!!

Will i be excluded from track days cos my licence has been confiscated??

Nooooooooo!

maate how long do you have to walk for? I am in that boat and have to be a nice pedestrian...buses are a right pain in the arse but a ten trip ticket is cheaper lol.

they just suspend your licence for x many months but you get to keep your licence for i.d track days are fine they just need id and you dont need a drivers licence to attend.

The midweek days are cheaper by the way 8) you do the crime you do the time.

just mean you can only ride like a launatic on certain days.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

You dont actually have to hand in your license ... you're just not allowed to drive on public roads between the dates they give you. You will still have your license to show the track day people. As for driving on the track ... its not a public road so I cant see you are breaking any laws. What they dont know wont hurt them
