2006 Kawasakis unveiled
Kawasaki’s ZX-10R will be faster and smaller for 2006 with a host of changes that make it a genuinely new bike.

Read the full and exclusive details and see more pictures, only in MCN – out on Wednesday, August 31.

The new bike features:

* New chassis

* New styling

* Underseat pipes

… and it’s claimed to be easier to ride.

The new ZZ-R1300 is thought to be slightly delayed, though prototypes are due to be shown next month with production following in Spring 2006.

And there’s a new faired version of the 650cc ER-6n twin, called the ER-6f (see picture, right). It is expected to cost less than £5000. Read full details and tech spec in MCN – out on Wednesday August 31.

You'd kind of think they wouldn't bother with a zzr with that in their line up... :?

I rode the ER5 the other day...not sure if I can go back to a twin now...haveta see how it goes on a test ride I think :wink:

Id assume putting fairings on the ER6 - and selling it in america as a ninja

would mean the end of the zzr600.. then again if they're goign to release the zzr1300 - maybe they'll keep it - as people who dont want the size/power but want the 'this bikes daddy eats blackbirds for breakfast' etc

The GPX250R sells in the US as a Ninja 250R, so I wouldn't be surprised :wink:

:? I think the zzr600's demise will come about from both the ER6 and the Z750s which is currently available in Europe and the US

ZZR600

Postby plane » Tue Sep 13, 2005 10:43 pm

Saw a new ZZR600 in the States when I was there recently. It was a ZX6R from a few years back, with a nice dark blue paint job.
The dealer said they were selling quite well there!
Cheers,
Pete
