Garage Day Sign Up 20-21st August

OK our KSRC Garage Day seems to be coming together! We have had two generous offers for a venue, RG's place in East Brisbane, which is small but local for more people, particularly helpful if your bike is sick. The other is Scotty37's place on the sunshine coast, further away so it involves a ride to get there (YAY!) with facilities for more peoples (see original thread http://www.ksrc-au.com/phpBB2/viewtopic ... 3&start=15 )

So. Let's propose next weekend, over two days (the 20th and 21st I think) and get interested parties to sign up on the poll above so we can get an idea of numbers. I'll make a list in this thread when you put your hand up. We'll need a willing group of volunteers to help us ignorant folk with gammy bikes out for both days, and an idea of who will be interested in doing stuff / getting stuff done on their bikes. When we figure out numbers we can confirm the location

MadFab has offered to bring half a cow I think those of us on the receiving end of help should cover the BBQ stuff and beer for the Helpers, a decent feed and a few drinks is the least we can do.

OK, looks like not enough interest for the large scale, two day + bbq idea, so I say we either scale it back to just a few folks on the saturday afternoon or drop the idea for now and start up another thread when there is more interest. What say y'alll? Cheers -J.

I'm interested as a helpee, but my schedule is impossible to guess at the moment!

Would also prefer somewhere easy to get to, as a complete and utter newbie rider.
