Heh, when i first got my bike L's i had been living out of home for 2 years (abeit had gotten a taste for it a little bit a few years earlier). Told my mum about getting my license over the phone, i still remember the 30 seconds of silence from her before she answered me, but she never said anything negative, just asked if i was sure of what i was doing.

I swear i'd have gotten a less shocked response if i said i had just eloped with a girl i had met a week before.

My dad on the other hand, Jesus christ from his reaction i would have been better off to have eloped!!

About 2 years, almost to the week and about 70,000 kms I guess
