I'd be interested to find out how you go getting insurance. I need to ring around too.

I came across Arista's number in the latest AMCN - 1300 ARISTA (1300 274 782).

Look forward to hearing how you go.

Dru got his payout from them. Other than taking a month of Sundays for them to sort it out, I don't think he had any other problems.

I am 26yo with a GPZ900.

It's $260/year on an agreed value of $4300. I was happy with that but just out of interest I spoke to NRMA. They are$792.97/year AND only offer Market Value so they can get starfed :)

28 year old with a 01 zx6r. I'm with AAMI, premium is $655 comprehensive for an agreed value of $8500. I had no prior (car) insurance record before last year. (I didn't insure my XE falcon for the 7 years I had it).

I remember getting quotes from Suncorp/NRMA, and they were about double that.

We are with Suncorp with a yearly premium of about $1,150 for comprehensive cover on both bikes ('04 Kawasaki Z750 & '04 Yamaha FZ1). The renewal has just arrived, and I rang around and quoted online, CGU & NRMA quoted $2,600 for both bikes & RACQ quoted about $1,900 for both bikes (with multi-policy discount and member discount). Needless to say we are staying with Suncorp!
Cheers,
Anne
