TRIUMPH 675 DAYTONA

now i know we all basically would cheer ourselves hoarse director.gif for any Kwaka racer/bike, but i'm afraid i will be jumping ship for one class in the ASC this year in supersport/superstock class.

the new Triumph Daytona 675 triple. :prayer:
it has received approval to race in the supersport series normally dominated by 4 cylinder 600cc machines, and i reckon it can give 'em a run

i have to say that i absolutely love this bike, and love the fact that it produces comparable HP to 4 cylinder machines, but it has more torque.
in the right hands i think it could really put some of the 600cc machines in their place.

yea..and it doesnt look half bad either!!

i love the speed triple...if it wasnt for the fact theres no1 here to look after it (i hate peter stevens)...id think abt one...

it shares so much similarity with the 05 zx6r, i still prefer it to be green :D

read the review in Two Wheels magazine this afternoon... They reckon its really very good and that one shouldnt let the lack of certain trick bits (such as a slipper clutch) keep you away from the bike. Also, they are looking to get it accepted into the supersport class as its a tripple, much the same way as the 749 is allowed to race.
Quiet they're sleeping.

Yep nice one Triumph 8)

I also think they've ripped off a ZX6, oh well imitation is flattery and all that Jazz.

Only thing I don't really like are the front indicators, they'd look better in either the mirrors or integrated with the bodywork (aka ZX10R).

Now all they need to do is replace that dinosaur of a Daytona 955i with a 1100 triple in a similar vein and they'll be sorted. :wink:

Yeah I like the thing. However I do think it will take some time to be competitive in supersport/stock.

Well the forks and brakes look like the same kyb jobbies off the 04 zx6r supose that would save the factory a few bucks rake trail numbers look the same as a 03/04 6r as well and i see it comes with a adjustable swing arm pivot which came with the 6rr, the engine being a triple obviously is a triumph unit and lookes to have a bit of extra tourqe which is also a good thing......do they come in green?? maybe not but would still be a nice thing dont know what parts for them would be like maybe you whould have to wait for the boat.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Lets see how similar it is when painted green....

I think they have taken some styling from various different bikes... Including the CBR600RR....

But yes, I see a bit of 03/04 and a bit of 05 in there awell...
