I still think the one with the most shock factor was the Victorian TAC ad where the guy riding in the right lane in traffic on his GPX250 gets knocked into the oncoming lane by a car driver who merges right without checking his mirrors ... the thumpthump sound of the van running over the guy's legs as he slides along the road ...
The thing I DID like about this UK ad, however, is the fact that it puts responsibility for keeping your eyes open squarely on the shoulders of the car driver. (Whereas the Vic TAC ad more or less promoted the message that motorcyclists have to watch out for cars about to do something stupid).
I wonder if we Victorians should write a letter to Bracksy suggesting he invest our $50 safety levy in broadcasting this advertisement.
