does anyone know or has anyone done this?

to make the bike rear storage area a keyless storage? so it can just be turn and open without the key?

does anyone know if lock smith will transform the lock into a turning nod or something

A lock smith could prob take the feelers out of the barrel so that you can stick a key in partially and the lock will just turn.

Not real secure, but I spose unless people know they prob wouldn't try.

But if you did it this way you could pretend to be sticking your key in for a reason, when all youre doing it using the key to turn the lock itself..

why not try a small switch and solenoid.....remove the barrel(lock) all together with, fit a solenoid, and a switch on or near the instrument cluster (wired through the ignition so that you still have some security). Push the button and pop she's open. Not a big or hard job at all
