Went into Action MC on Saturday and the only onder hodner (nah can't say it) I have eyes for was on sale and a good buy it was too.
Onder SP2 1000cc
OTR- $14500
Seems like a whole lotta bike for not a lot of dollars......I'm sure they were around the 20 mark
I hung around lookin for a while and the guy shifted one while I was there and then I noticed sold on two others , I reckon they were a great deal(throwing in shit like tank protectors, seat cowl covers etc etc in the deals), how close was I from crossing to the dark side.
On the other side of the road, Bikebiz have a real smhick ZX7R for sale outside, a real nice example
That was my Saturday arvo after work anyway.

you can't buy a honda until you have a complete lobotomy done.

Whats wrong with you.???
You've been drifting a lot lately...
An SP2.???.. there crap, your zx9 would carve one up, is lighter and more comfortable...
Read the tests on em.... there not good... last in every masterbike...
Less than 1 year old zx10's can be had for that price....

Sorry mate

,
It's the sound, it pulls me

.
Do you really think my missus will let me part with 14500 I don't have.
Mind you she said I couldn't part with 8500 that I did have but I waited for her to go on holiday
Where's that travel brochure?
Don't worry they don't make SP2's in green anyway
The force was strong but not that strong

You could always pull a couple of plugs on the 9, that way you would get the sound and similar performance too.....

as much as it pains me to say it..they r right..the SP2 rated poorly against all other v-twins..dukes,aprillias, and even the TLR most ppl prefer, altho i believe the SP2 handles better than the TLR(mates opinion- i havent compared em)...
seriously they sound GRUNT, and they look tuff, but most ppl reckon there pretty crap..however ur right, they r abt $22k new...

yeah has anyone seen barges.wmv ? anyway they ride a 916, tlr and vtr. basically the vtr just isn't that good. what it has going for it is the twin cylinder sound and looks (which is quite subjective really), but it just wasn't up to par with the other bikes.
oh and i guess the other thing going for it is that u can pick them up 2nd hand for quite low prices. a few weeks ago i saw one on bikesales for $11000.

An SP2 for $11000, I've always noticed the prices being a bit high.
That may be an SP1.
Or Firestorm
I still reckon at 14500 that's one hell of a new bike buy on the road price.
Who cares if they aint up to masterbike standards, I aint and never am I gonna be a class of rider to take somethin like a 1000cc twin to the limits on the road.
Mate...www.$percc@twinsoundlevels/withacoupleofgoodcans/deepdowngruntandgoodlooks.com sounds like one hell of a website.
Then again it's still a onda
