I found this article on a
diesel powered bike very interesting, I was thinking why no one had tried to do it before then came across this in a search.
In fact I find it hard to believe but it looks the goods.

Its a ideal farm bike scotty i have seen it before and would probably make a great commuter too the way fuel prices are going.

haha, imagine, Hardly Dangerson transition to diesel would be simple and likely perform better, but I am sure they would mess that up.

Diesel is way more expensive than petrol now

Diesel's are much more economical than petrols.
Make a bloody good farm bike, would certainly be wierd in a sports bike tho.....

There have been a few diesel sportbikes; I'll find some links or photos tonight.

There was an Enfield Diesal comuter out in the 90's
wasn't overly fast, but it only needed a few liters to around 400km's so it would have made a great courier bike (for a courier who doesn't do 100km/h the wrong way down a one way street that is)
