Helmet no-fogging

Wed Nov 24, 2004 9:58 pm

I can't believe how quick my breathing creates fog in the visor. Saw a guy the other day with helmet that has something covering his nose, so that it creates a tunnel for the breath-exit, unlike my $120 helmet.

Question is: does the thing come with the helmet or can I buy a piece and stick it into my helmet?

u can buy generic ones..but id much prefer to reccoment the anti fog insert
on ur visor...$30 or so "fog city" or such..my xlite has em & they work a
treat..read TY's article on the home page...he did a test thing..

I have FogCity on my AGV (on both the clear and Tinted visors)

i always use the anti-fog and anti-rain on my helmet after duane's recommendation.

It works quiet well.

Every helmet I have ever had has suffered from fogging to some extent. Even my old HJC with the little nose cover thing.

But, (and here I go again), the wierd arsed ventilation system on the BMW helmet works superbly. I have never had it fog and I don't know why other manufacturers don't have the same setup!
