How did they get it so wrong?

Postby Strika » Wed Dec 07, 2005 7:56 pm

As I splashed thru the rivers of water streaming across most of the roads yesterday, I got to thinking. I was sure that the forecast said.....Early thunderstorm, then scattered showers a nor east breeze, with a late change to a south wester with thunderstorms increasing during the evening.. But it was pissing down.

So anyhoo......i am listening to the tellie over a latte` and some fruit (god I love breakky) :) And I here that d/head weather man say, Sorry we got it so wrong yesterday! Bastard.

Hence everytime I walked outside today, I looked up at the almost clear sky, and down at the clean dry roads, and cursed that fcuker!

I had to work today other wise I would have done a ride, and I gott work thurs and fri too

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the ride, in a sorta masochistic, headjob off a grandmother way (it feels fine as long as you don't look down  )

But I am dead keen to do those spurs again without the presence of either water, or plod! Soooooo I plan on doing another around the spurs run during early or late next week. :)

I am in Sydney on business Tue/Wed/thur, so either Monday or Friday is the go. A show of hands will determine which day. :D

My wife and I are both at the four zero stage, but we both have our own teeth too Gosling, so I will have to rely on your experience
