Be ready to shut the throttle off when the front comes up the first few times, but as you get used to it, you will be able to control how high to get the front up and how long to keep it up. Once you can do it on a regular basis, try doing the same thing standing on the pegs.

Cheers! I adjusted the levers (little fingers  ) last time i was out at Bowhill so i could still control the bars and control the clutch with 2 fingers..
Need a whole day just practicing it! :kuda:

Learnt 3 things from that Rob

1. Lift the front
2. More speed (definately)
3. Stay in the front pack!

The other part no one has mentioned.

Other than lifting the front make sure you aren't leaning over it when in situations like that. Esp when heading down hill. Easier for the front to change direction if you aren't fighting it.

Let the front do what it needs to do, works in most situations. ;)

Oh and more speed always works as well :)

Thanks Rus, there's no way you could have been over the bars in the situation i found myself in. After all the steep mountains (yeah big mountains  ) the natives took us over before even getting to this point tested your metal and riding ability. Was gob stoppingly amazing though! i could do it everyday! 8)

Confused???

So were you leaning over the front and and hanging onto the bars in fear of death, or were you over the back of the bike with your arms loose?

Cool I was implying that a lot of people lean forward or use the handle bars to hold them up on declines so that would ad to the issue, but I got what you mean now ;)
