kitty litter technique

Postby mark1 » Thu Aug 08, 2013 9:45 am

On friday at wakefield park on turn 2 ran off after locking front brake but managed to stay upright and used my feet as out riggers thru the kitty litter
Any tips on riding kitty litter?

Get off the brakes and accelerate.
Haven't actually needed to do it. But that's what you do in sand on dirt bikes

Yep, I have tested and tried above methods with success! Also, if you find yourself heading to an obstacle use the rear brake a little... and by a little, I do mean a little. Learned that the hard way too.

thanks guys,no need to accelerate as I was running out of kitty litter and deciding if to jump off or try sharp turn on grass strip between litter and wall. Jump off was the decision but luckily pulled up just as kitty litter ran out.
Lesson stay focused. 8)
