When I firstrode Chris's bike the first thing that struck me that was beyond 12000 there's not much else so changing about there seemed to work ok, and just smash the throttle stop everywhere. Most fun I've had on a bike ever, except for the Rex :P

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

I haven't done any TD's but prolly will eventually and intend on coming to a few to have a watch soon but I'm curious.....Is it max power or max torque you want. I haven't dyno'd my 250 (don't see much point as it's only stock) but the manual gives max power at 11Krpm but max torque at 9.5Krpm? :?

Stick to your torque curve

what Blurr said - the response you *feel* is the torque curve. The rpm at which the peak torque and rpm occur, is always different, and the rpm for the maximum hp is *always* above that of maximum torque.

You build a motor for high hp, but tune it to get the best torque curve......because this gives you the best power delivery.

So looking at that chart I put up you'd want to be changing gear at 6800? :?
