Thats a bugga, just when it looked like everyone wanted to play ball

"Australian Road & Track Rider Promotions (ARTRP) is disappointed to announce that Motorcycle Australia have informed us that they wish to end negotiations for a merged Australian Superbike Championship for 2014 and beyond.

In a statement to ARTRP Motorcycling Australia thanked us for exploring the opportunity but the Board of Motorcycling Australia whilst seeing merit in a merged series did not believe it was in their best interest.

The decision allows ARTRP to move forward with preparations for the 2014 AFX-SBK Series with a number of sponsors already committing to 2014. The 2014 Australian FX-Superbike Championship Series will be launched next month and ARTRP is committed to once again providing an ‘Affordable National Championship Series’ with unprecedented television coverage in domestic motorcycle racing."

Terry would have gone to them with his plan and they wouldn't have liked it, so he's given them the bird. Understandable I reckon.

MA voted it wasn't in there best interest and declined his offer. Somehow I think the offer might not have been in their favour.

David White is a rusted-on fossil and needs to be booted out of MA immediately, for the good of the sport.

:?

He's meant to be retiring/resigning sometime this year
until we get fresh faces both promoting and managing our sport it will always get bogged down by the current personality issues :-(
