SYKES INJURED AHEAD OF WSBK OPENER
World superbike title-contender Tom Sykes has broken his wrist during testing at Phillip Island after high-siding in turn 11. Sykes underwent scans in Melbourne late yesterday and doctors have since confirmed a hairline fracture in his left wrist. The Brit wasn’t on track today but he’s expected to be back on the bike in time for testing on Monday.
