Stoner becomes the third Australian MotoGP world champion to have a corner named after him at Phillip Island.

Actually he's the 2nd to have a corner named after him, Gardner got the straight... :D

thats ok, but turn 3 is where its at, best left hander in the land :) down the hill wide open, nothing like it.... except when the roo's decide to graze there, as their prone to do :shock: :shock: got some onboard footage of going thru there with a skippy feeding on the edge of the turn.... not cool.

Great turn to name after him, that footage from rossie's bike a few years ago is mindblowing, sideways, smoke coming off the tyre, how good was that :)

Yer it did... pulled in next lap..... didnt want to tangle with that at high speed.. Hit one out back in QLD as a young fella on a K2 honda... still remember that..
Their not like our resident wombat at broadford, they move a bit quicker.... old wombat's a bit slow, so easy to swing around as he wanders out at pit turn for a look see :) :)
