Did he fark over Pol by cutting him off?

Should Pol have expected Marquez to close the line and realise he didnt have enough room to pull it off without collision?

Was Marqez in the wrong

Postby Wattie » Wed Jun 06, 2012 9:40 pm

Marquez was on te racing line, look at the chopper view where luthi ani ianoni went. marquez was back on that straight away, the line in that corner is as blurr mentioned.
You cut back for a second apex.

for all the talk of there being multiple lines through the corner, thats all good and well... but the dude nearly fell off, and even if 'on line' (despite losing the front end?? ) he was travelling much much slower than iannone or luthi would have been at this point in time...so to simply 'cover the racing line' becomes the reckless thing to do...

imagine if you miss a gear coming out of the final turn, or grab a box full of neutrals, or maybe almost highside the bike, are you then going to immediately 'cover the racing line' down the main straight? bduh.gif

im not saying marquez did it purposely, but it was reckless... im with gos... and hoffy

btw i can stand marquez and hope that between iannone, luthi, espargaro and maybe redding, they can sort him out and get the fucking silver spoon out of his mouth and shove it up his arse... i hate him even more than you're-gay lorentho

Obviously you didn't see him last season?

Yep certainly did. Confused though. How was that dirty. You think he meant to run up his arse like that???????? Your having a lend aren't you????????

Reckless maybe but wouldn't call that dirty

Maybe it wasn't dirty per se, but it shows his complete lack of awareness and respect for the riders that are sharing the track with him, hence the penalty.
It wasn't just that incident, he ran a couple of others in to the dirt last year as well.

Pol may have been coming up a bit quicker but on the replay it was pretty clear the bike was loose and he knew he was running out of room but he stuck it in there anyway, probably hoping he could bump Marquez out of the way. Marquez had recovered and was holding his line through the corner for a bit before Pol hit him, as far as I'm concerned it was a racing incident.

I did love the bit earlier on where Marquez tried the pass and switch across the front of Iannone, first time it worked, second time Iannone just shoved it back up the inside of him.....he may be Mad Joe but fark me he's entertaining to watch :kuda:

2 riders are going 100/% the lead rider has a moment catches it and runs off line. rider 2 see a gap and says "Ill have that", he makes a move to close a gap.
The lead rider says " fuck that was lucky, get back on it" and gets back on the race line asap.

Two riders are now trying to use the same line at the same time.
They are looking at where they are going. Not at each other.

Maybe if they both pulled over to allow room for other riders. Oh no thats a ride day.
