Marquez is on the left side of the bike, he'd have to be half blind and deaf to not know there was a bike there.

Seeing is a lot different to hearing. Even though I hear other bikes doesn't mean I know there exact location.

Pol should have seen that gap being risky and acted accordingly......

Pol saw the mistake from MM and held his line. He didn't vary. he didn't do anything except get in the way of MM.

Not somewhere anyone really wants to be.....if you see a gap don't you try to take advantage ? That is all Pol was doing. From the sound of things, its almost like you are suggesting that Pol just should have rolled off and let MM back onto the racing line ?

That isn't racing. When MM moved back across to the racing line, they were side by side. He knew Pol was there - but still pushed across anyway.......it was a dirty move no matter what spin people want to put on it.

Besides - if its OK to suggest that Pol should have seen the risks and acted accordingly.....why does this not apply as equally to MM ???? After all, he was the one who almost fell off, ran wide, had to recover - then jammed himself right onto the racing line.

All Pol did - was hold a tight line and maintain his speed. Nothing more or less. He actually did *nothing* wrong at all. But despite doing nothing wrong - there he is flying across the track and into the graveltrap.

That angle is from the entry to the corner. It's not the right angle.

what's the *right* angle ? The one that shows MM in front ??

he was right next to Pol - so close in fact that *HE TOOK HIM OUT* . There is no way in hell that he would not have known that Pol was that close - no way at all. How could that be possible when he bashed right into him ?

It's not like some invisible hand of god reached out and pushed Pol off the track !

Shitty resolution due to dhit video.

But that's the point of impact.
Marquez is in front by half a wheel. He was lholding his position in the race
Watching it from the chopper view you see that Marquez put himself back on luthi and ianoni's line waaaay before Pol even came close.

Mate you can't just go flat chat without taking into account the person in front. Just like following someone, you maybe faster but that doesn't mean you can you ride like he wasnt there. The gap was small and Pol should have known he wouldn't make it from that far back.

ED that is prime example of the parallax effect. You aren't looking at it from dead centre with that pic

What is so hard for you people to get your head around.
2 riders are going 100/% the lead rider has a moment catches it and runs off line. rider 2 see a gap and says "Ill have that", he makes a move to close a gap.
The lead rider says " fuck that was lucky, get back on it" and gets back on the race line asap.

Two riders are now trying to use the same line at the same time.
They are looking at where they are going. Not at each other.

Maybe if they both pulled over to allow room for other riders. Oh no thats a ride day.

After his team sent him out with 5 seconds left on the clock and said go flat out! Make sure bike is ok. :?

That was a bit crazy.

Moto2 is cut throat, look at pol and Marquez 2 rounds ago, bashing paint. It's not the 1st time pol has battled with Marquez. He knows he's quick.

Marqez sacrificed his line by almost binning it...Pol took the tighest line he could..marqez said 'fuck that' whilst travelling much slower than Pol and DRAMATICALLY altered his line to take Pol out, ie he threw his toys out of the pram and reacted like a tiny tot chucking a tantrum about Pol making the pass, which Pol was entitled to do I might add, as he was travelling at a faster pace and had clean racetrack in front of him on his tight line around the corner..

The impact was side to side, who turned into who? Answer me that one?

And btw what the hell is the difference between Marqez 'knowing' or 'not knowing' he was there...thats the excuse 80 year old grandmothers use when they throw bikers flying off their windscreens after they have run an intersection cause they cant fucking see properly...give it up boys, honestly...

These are the facts, no matter all the assumptions you guys try to sell about what Marqez, these are the facts and that is what happened..

See you in the next race...Pol and Marqez can have it out on track, the way it should be..

The way I see it, the sheer difference of speed between the two wipes away any doubt that Marquez knew what he was doing and knew what was coming. Like I said, at that speed, he should know better than cutting back to the racing line. If that had happened at a St.George Rd we'd be hearing about it for decades to come.

Thats a good point actually, if youve just nearly binned it and wiped off quite a bit of speed the last thing I would do is shove my bike back onto the racing line while a rider was passing me...

Its just good manners...
