Expect the demise of WSBK within a few years. The company that owns WSBK also own MotoGp, so do the sums.

Not the first time the Japanese factories have withdrawn from WSBK (remember Hodgson's 2003 Ducati Cup win ;) ) they survived that period and are still going strong. The Ducati factory might be gone as well now too, but they're still on top

WSBK news is a week old mate - team Tuning Fork are gaawwnnnnn. At least the factory bikes. Will still be a few privateer bikes there next year...

Poor old Marco, signs up to race the factory Kawasaki MotoGP bike... then they quit. Signs up to the factory Yamaha WSBK squad... and they quit. Must be tough

i think there stupid getting out of WSBK there a lot closer to the real world bikes that everyone owns.i bet ducati is regretting it BIG TIME :lol:

The Yamaha Team was run and sponsored essentially by Yamaha Europe, not the Yamaha Japan. As such they weren't factory supported out of Japan.

Ducati likely to come back if Rossi doesn't take all the coin
