Newer riders-What would benefit you?

Wed May 29, 2013 7:45 pm

A question for newer riders. If you were reading a magazine or webzine, what sort of information and stories would you want to read about?

There are some obvious ones of course, like which bike/which type of bike, how to buy it, maintanance, gear etc., but what else would you like to read about?

125 vs 250 vs 500 vs 650 LAMS bikes - pro's and cons.

Protective gear in order of importance and ease of wearing it while out and about. eg if you can't wear all the gear to go to the movies with friends, gloves, discrete riding boots and a jacket are going to get you reasonably well protected.

Importance of tyre choice, weather and road conditions and other traffic traits whilst riding.

And then minor upgrades to suspension and brakes rather then just power.
