Ninja 250R seat cowl

Postby Djc926 » Sat May 26, 2012 2:21 am

Hi guys,
I bought a second hand ninja 250R last year. I always found that it's weird that the seat cowl doesn't lock into place at the rear. Then I found out from browsing some forum that it's meant to lock into place via the rubber grommet that people commonly lose. Anyone know where I can source it from brisbane?

I have the same problem with my seat cowl. You can get the rubber grommet from any bike shop, that being said be warned if you try getting it from the kawa dealership they might charge you 10 bucks where as the bike gear warehouse down the road would charge u a dollar

The tires are the same overall width and diameter as Calmini recommended, and with just minor air-dam trimming, there was no rubbing.

I just bought some from bunnings for the same thing. A pack of 4 was around $5. I'll have to dig up the pack to give exact size but I think it was the only 1/2 centre diameter they sold.
