New 2010 Ninja 250r

Only avaliable in Ebony & Metallic Island Blue. Strange they didn't release the green again. :?

Also note the different colour exhaust, it now has a flat black centre section.

Yeh I know, it sucks. If they were going to, I probably would've waited and bought a brand new one. They told me about the exhaust too, it does look better on the black bike but I wonder how it would look on a green one. No other changes but, everything else is exactly the same. Would've been nice to have a FI one released over here. Probably would make the bike about 11K RRP though.

If they keep this up with the colours, and only having the green in 09, it'll become a collectors item!

Still the nicest looking 250, I reckon.

Hmmmmmmmm guess we bought at the right time then, I love hulk junior, I do reckon though the black exhaust would look hot on him, he has a lot of black, actually more black than chrome so a black exhaust would look hot, but otherwise, no green :? in the new ones, not sure that is such a good selling point as the green is very symbolic of the kwakas.

They didn't sell green in 08 dizzi. Only black and red back then, and it was a different black from memory.

Yeh, only green in 2009.

Apparently there is a green in the 2010 model though. Spoke to someone today and he says they are releasing a green.

I just hope it's not that weird looking limited edition green with the black and white fairings.

Wow I love the black exhaust and think it would suit all colours, mostly because the exhaust is actually the only silver part on the bike anyway besides brake/clutch levers. Spewing the 09 didn't have it because then I would have one now!

the model year colours are as follows...

MY08: red and black
MY09: blue, green and black
MY10: black and blue

something in my head is telling me that the black was different from 08 to 09 but i could be making that up...

The black was different. 2009 was a metallic black, the 2008 and 2010 models aren't.

And Aitkens reckons they'll be getting green within 4 weeks when they get their shipment of 2010 models.

I've also heard from Kelens that there will be green with the 2010 models.

Based on the fact that I own a MY08 250 I can vouch for the fact that they released it in blue aswell :) I also thought they released it in green aswell.

edit: hmm spelling isn't my thing

it looks hot apart from that gay black thing hanging down where the number plate sits. It could be a dremel job unless it unscrews :)

they did release the MY09 in about august 2008... I'd be interested to see the vin number... I'd happily stand corrected as when I bought mine in April 08 I was given the choice of red or black
