Thanks Chopper I will. :)

Done 4 commuting rain rides now, and with the advice and experience feeling comfortable.

Tyres feel fine as much as i can tell, they're Bridgestone BT45 or something, plenty of tread.

Slammed into a deep pothole in the car tonight, can't imagine that'd be much fun on a bike!

these tyres are awesome in the rain, even when your doing superbike school in the wet.... lots of tread and with a 110 and 130 on the ninja 250 they seemed to not aquaplane at all

a fat contact patch like a 180 or 190 rear would be slightly more prone to aquaplaning... i would have thought, but maybe someone has done something scientific with this in mind???

Dri-Rider waterproof gloves have a plastic wiper blade on the index fingers for clearing rain off your visor.

Someone posted many years ago a good tip...

If you find yourself tensing up on the bike, on edge and a bit uncomfortable, just smile and your body loosens right up.

Mate hopefully I'll be there with you, ksrc shirt on, pits, 9am.

Just had the best ride home! First of all had some fun around some nice corners and then the lightning started (I love lightning) So I kept hooning around watching the lightning, enjoying the great clean quiet roads then started raining.

On go the wet weather pants, totally dry all the way home and watched some of the best lightning I've ever seen.

Used a lot of the advice from this thread, especially "leaning off' and "higher gear" and loved riding in the rain. FUN

Long way home!

You are a masochist Tim, so does this mean when we are doing a run you are wishing for lightening & rain or just lightening :x

Raymond: Of course I don't have my underwear. I'm definitely not wearing my underwear.
Charlie: I gave you a fresh pair of mine to wear. Where are they?
Raymond: They're in the pocket of my jacket. Here.
Charlie: I don't want them back.
Raymond: These are not boxer shorts. Mine are boxer shorts. These are Hanes 32.
Charlie: Underwear is underwear, Ray.
Raymond: My boxer shorts have my name and it says Raymond.
Charlie: All right, when we pass the store, we'll pick you up a pair of boxer shorts.
Raymond: I get my boxer shorts at K-Mart in Cincinnati.
Charlie: We're not going back to Cincinnati, Ray, so don't even start with that.

Raymond: Gotta get my boxer shorts at K-Mart.
Charlie: [Pulls over, gets out of the car and yells] WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE WHERE YOU BUY UNDERWEAR? WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE? UNDERWEAR IS UNDERWEAR! IT IS UNDERWEAR WHEREVER YOU BUY IT! IN CINCINNATI OR WHEREVER!
Raymond: K-Mart!
Charlie: You know what I think, Ray? I think this autism is a bunch of shit! Because you can't tell me that you're not in there somewhere!
Raymond: Boxer shorts. K-Mart!
