last practice tonight b4 tomorrow, i think i have everything down pat. the slow riding is alot better coz ive been practicing every night all this week plus while riding to and fro to work. head checks are glued in to the brain so thats cool. weaving is good since a couple of guys at work showed me the push down in the opposite directions technique so all cool with that. so wish me luck lmao.

congrats mate!!!just goes to show that you were concerned enough to make sure your riding was perfect even though people were telling you it was easy.

Yeah a few people said it was hard , and to do this and that , but i practiced so much at night and i ride everyday to and from work, it just felt like i was having fun with a couple of mates. I ended up just flicking through the cones and the uturn i did on a dime, which was funny. the braking was the worst part coz my front forks need re-oiling and the back kept locking up , but i just pushed down on my fat arse, and it was sweet. the head checks which was the thing that i thought i would get unstuck on but it never really poped into my mind, i just did them. They push the fact of setting up aswell, but riding on the great western everyday im always setting up there, coz of wankers in cars so that was also inprinted in my brain.
the only thing i saw was people doingthe test and they have hardly ridden and were at the end of there 1 year learners, so it was a matter of getting them or having to redo the l's course, personally as soon as the 3 months were up i had them booked just incase i failed i had plenty of time to re do them.

Dont be nervous, relax enjoy the day and have fun. Penrith is more layed back so aslong as you have praticed youll be fine., All i did was going to the parking lots at harvey's and also the parking lot behind high street and praticed low speed turns, braking and u-turns!!! just get your uturns down to 2 car packing spots and you'l be fine. on a ninja it would be very easy to do. they love the brake and clutch technique so pratice that too.

when i went for my L's, both P's groups on both days all failed except for just 3. Even my trainer fellow said that we were doing better, so why they were doing their road ride we had a go on their track. All 3 people in my group were able to successfully complete all tests except for the braking which we didn't try. We had never ridden previously and we able to do the u turn using that "riding the clutch" method. In hind site, we probably could have passed the P's test compared to the guys attempting to do there's on the day. Some guy who had a hyosung failed the u turn every single time and stalled many times too. I have since ridden a hyosung just to see if i could do the u turn and i did. I've only been riding 4 weeks or so and i can easily do all the P's tests now, i think if you ride whenever you can and practice those simple things then you'll be fine. Tests really make me nervous so that's basically the only thing i need to learn to deal with before i go for my P's. Go for the test when your ready not just when your L's is running out, i think most people truly know whether they are going to fail or not, if you can't do the P's test stuff then you probably shouldnt be on the road, just a danger to yourself more then anything.

Otherwise goodluck for today (???), can't wait for mine!!

Hire their bikes it's easier to do you turn and ride.

I passed first time on their bike...

I passed. 100% too..... LOL

It wasnt difficult at all. The hardest bit was swerving thru the cones and the u-turn after that, but as long as you have good control over rear brake, clutch and throttle, this will be easy as.

This comment :

'if you can't do the P's test stuff then you probably shouldnt be on the road, just a danger to yourself more then anything. '

is so true. Realistically, if you cannot pass, you really shoudnt be on the road, as the stuff they teach is really quite basic. I mean you spend 8 hours of the day there with really only 5 mins of testing. The hardest bit I found was trying to get over my nerves at the start of the test.

Anyways, now I need to upgrade my bike........ anyone wanna buy a blue Ninja 250R and anyone need to sell me a blue ZX6R?

Let me know

please consider just because your on your P's now doesnt you can out ride a 250r. There is still alot to learn from a 250r

In inexperienced hands a 600r can be quiet dangerous.
