New to road bikes

Postby Kowasaki » Sat Oct 31, 2015 6:49 pm

Hey guys, I've ridden off road for over 5 years now and finally had an opportunity to get my bike license to jumped on it. Passed both tests first go with ease!

Next up wad getting a bike. I wanted a EH250 ninja but couldn't afford one so went for the next best thing and got a ZZR250. She's an 05 with 24000km on the clock, runs like a dream and rides even better. Only had to replace a couple little things and am yet to recover the seat but it'll be in for a RWC ASAP, can't wait to get her on the road! Will post some pictures of her when my phone will let me.

Welcome mate. There's a reason they hadn't changed the zzr/gpx 250 for year after year. Pretty bullet proof

If you can afford it get a bit of advanced riding training. You ride road bikes a bit different to dirt bikes.
That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba.... Hunter S. Thompson.

I've got a ZZR250 which I have fitted a ninja engine to. Doesn't fit but I made it. Slightly LESS power than ZZR engine. Nice bikes. :)
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R :) Yeah I like Kawasakis.
