G'day

G'day boys and girls

Thought I'd do the right thing and use my social manners and intro myself.
I 've been called plenty of things over the years and the only one that would be above board to use here is furball.

I m in my 54th year and have been riding all sorts for about 48 of the 54 I've been around and don't consider myself an old fart,,,, yet!
When I say all sorts, I mean all sorts! Big ones, small ones, shiny ones, dirty ones, on road, off road, slow ones, fast ones, faster ones,
ambulances and rescue helicopters,,, Last two,,, riding pillion only.
Over the years I have managed to own at least one bike from just about every continent and more than I care to count.

In the shed are two Z's,,, had more,,, but that's another story

2001 ZRX 1200 R Owned for about three years. Pilot Powers, Braided lines, ProMacha suspension, Re jetted carbs, Pod filter, Carbon can,
125hp at the wheel = fun factor +

1974 Z1A 900 Have had this one for a looooooong time. There isn't enough time, space and or memory to list the amount of blood, sweat, tears, money and Bundy thrown at this thing to get it where it is now,,, and just a show pony it aint!! It gets ridden,,, the way it should.

Anyway I m starting to bore myself with all this ' I ' stuff.
Look forward to meeting some of you guys and hearing your stories on a ride or track day.

Chow 4 Now and keep the shiny side up.

Welcome mate. I'm only half your age but have the same understanding about the zrx. I have one of my own and have so much more I want to do to it.

Both your Rex and zed look tops. Always liked the old school muscle bikes. I guess that's why I ended up with the Rex.

Any way I'm sure you will enjoy it here a lot of helpful stuff and helpful bloke.

Ferball, I love the Z1, that was the best colour combo ever. I like you've stuck another cappiper & rotor on it, that was the first thing we did to them all those years ago.
Welcome mate, I hope to catch up some day & get a good look at the Z1, it looks like a ripper.. ;)

G'day again fellas

Clarky. Good to hear from a young fella with some sense and taste. :D I had a squiz at your Rexy on the Show Off Your Ride part of the forum. Nice one mate!
Save some coin and start with the suspension and carb re jetting/pod mods on you Rex. Believe me, It turns a good bike into much better one!
Your welcome to take God (short for Godzilla, not the other one) for a lap and see the difference for yourself.
You too JimZXR. You may become a convert to 'The Naked Side'

S man. Yeh, everyone loves a good Z. They were all over the place back when, now there all safely tucked up under the bed somewhere. Not this one, so you'll see it and without sounding like I m pissing in my own pocket look for the crowd saying 'I use to have one of these'
I recon the colour combo is one of the best next to the Jaffa with a black engine.

Home is near Castle Hill, close to all the good ride roads!
