Hi all ...

I am 40 yrs old i got my learners when i was 25 but never got a bike and never road a bike on the road, a year later i got my P's and again never road a bike on the road. I just never got around to buying a bike because i got married had kids bought house and cars and financially was not in the position to afford a bike.
Years went by and now im 40 nearly 41 and i just bought a second hand well looked after custom zx9r, does anyone have any advise or pointers. I live in the Pakenham area i have no friends who ride and would like to meet fellow riders for ride days and could do with some pointers from experienced riders.

Welcome mate. I had many years away and for me an advanced riders course, and a couple of track days with a coach is well worth the money to not only learn some skills but to gain confidence and learn what your bike can do. Have fun, stay safe :kuda:

Yep definetly go and do some training it may save you from a world of pain, once you have done that go and do a few trackdays to get to know your bike.I have been riding pretty consistently for 35 years and still learning all the time. ;)
