Hey peoples I'm new and just wanted to say hello, I'm riding a Gen 3 Black zx10r with a few mods nothing major just PC-V, M4 Exhaust, XTRE, fender eliminator and integrated tail light.
Just finished a replacement of the swingarm and all bearings a couple of weeks ago as the original developed a crack, also have had the wheels and subframe powder coated gold but haven't updated the pictures yet. Once I get the rear wheel back (lost the spacer tube that sits inbetween the bearings) on I will take more photos as I know how much everyone online loves them :D :D
Anyway that's all for now

Swing arm cracked. Is this a known issue with gen 3s?

Ditch the rego tube, instant 2hp gain.

Welcome.

Never heard of a crack in the swingarm before ? What section/side? Any pics?
Did you approach your local kawasaki dealer or kawasaki australia about this issue?

Hit a road plate one night and it developed a crack near the welds at the end of the swing arm near the axle, Kawasaki didn't feel obligated to help seeing as I admitted to hitting a road plate so I just ordered a new swing arm from the states and all associated bearings and swapped it over.
