Well, I thought since I have'nt been around here for quite some time, I'd better reintroduce myself.
Kwakka Kilt here, I have had a few bikes, the list goes:
Yamaha FZR400 (3TJ Jap import model 1992)

Yamaha FZR400 (Aussie Model 1986)

Yamaha FZR600 parts bike(Aussie model 1990)
I tried to source a crank for the 3TJ yammie, after 18 months of no luck, a bloke calls me telling me he had a crank for the motor !!

He then tells me he wants to buy the bike to go racing .....

Anyway, I sold it, bought the other 2 FZR's, and was about to try building an FZR 4/6 when I realised I needed to get a learner legal bike anyway ....

Sold the lot, and bought a 1989 ZXR250 project (My first road legal bike !!

Did it up, and sold it after running it for a while....

Bought a Repairable write off Hyosung GT650R (I wanted a V Twin...)
From this....

To this with many mods.....

Anyway, I got my Blacks last November, so I swapped the Hyosung to return to the Kwakka fold by getting a 1996 ZX7R .....

Phew that's it !! - Not bad for an initial $400 bucks prised out of the bank account to get the 1st Yammia FZR400, I sold that for $1600, used that money to buy the other bikes, and made a bit as I went, working on all my bikes myself, until I managed to get the "Boyhood dream" ZX7R !!

I know the 7R is a bit heavy and slow by todays standards, but to be honest it is plenty quick enough for me, is Rock solid planted in the front end, and the looks still give me the horn after all these years ... One of the best looking bikes that have a timeless sportsbike look

So Hi (Again) and I look forward to shooting the S**t with you all, and modding my new toy.
Kilt.
