Hi Guys and Girls,
Just saying G'day and thanks for a great sight site to sit down and talk bikes. Its hard to find
a decent bike forum these days with a majority of tossers..
I've been riding for about 25 of my 33 years and have had an 04 ZX12R for about 2 years now and
absolutely love it. Its getting a new front ring today so I'm telling myself now that I need to ride
like I'm on ice for the first 200k's.
I'll be sure to login regularly and ask questions about the mighty 12's..
Cheers all!!

Hi again all. I'm located in Brisneyland up on the Peninsula for all those who were asking...
I just wanted to comment on the new front ring I just chucked on the 12. I got a Michelin Pilot and it seems like a nice soft
tyre and all, but its blistering the shit out of itself within 500k's of it being on. The back is a BT010 (which I'll change soon) and
even it is blistering a fair bit on the sides and its only done about 1000k's if that. I am by no means a hard arse, knee scraping
rider from the pits of hell, or heaven, but these two softer tyres I've got are the first time I've blistered any set of tyres so soon
after fitting. My pressures are good and have even checked them mid ride to monitor them. Is it just the nature of the soft
tyre to blister so quick? It's not a big deal, but would be interested to hear your thoughts..
Cheers,
Jez
