Hi All,

My name is Mel. New to riding. New to Kawasakis. New to this forum.

Anyways, got my learners (finally) late last year. Haven't done any riding at all since as I didn't have a bike.

Well, that all changed this afternoon when I took a stroll on my lunch break around the city. Walked into Kawasaki store, spotted a brand new blue Ninja 250R, fell in love, bought the bike. Should be picking it up hopefully in the next week (after I figure out how the hell I'm going to pay for it ).

Looking forward to catching up with you guys here and learning a thing or two.

omg.. i just got a call from ps and they sold my bike to someone else!! wtf?

i have to wait until the next shipment to get mine.. wtf??

damn, i was going to pick it up this weekend.. seriously, wtf???

what cwidova said... did u have a signed contract?? if u didnt then its un ethical but not illegal....

i have a signed contract with the vin and engine number on it, along with a receipt for $500 deposit i put down on it.

thats fucked up dude... id be into the bike shop, and straight down the manager's throat, and ask hiim if this is something that they regularly do or if itd only today that they are pricks... lol

Some clown has probably walked in and offered them cash with a premium to ride away and they have taken it! Id be kicking up a stink. Id also contact Kawasaki Aus info@kawasaki.com.au with the situ as the dealer will just give you more promises!

and to make it worse, they didnt even ask first. just got rid of it then tells me ... "its gooooone mate" thats it. no apology. nothing i can do about it.

if another dealer offers me the same deal and i can pick up the bike asap, im taking it and getting my deposit back from ps (city).

thats a brand new 2009 blue ninja 250R for $7600 ride away. im in south/south-east metro area in vic.

and thx fireyrob, i will be sending kawasaki a note about this along with my invoice/order/contract/receipt.

have a look out further.....i think 1300 kawasaki might be having a sale....they getting taken over by peter stevens from what i heard......also speak to joe at sharp tune he a good guy and might be able to work out a deal......but that seriously f**cked up go in and make a scene about it since you had a deposit and did the paperwork on it
