Hi all!
long time rider (of other peoples bikes) but finally got off my backside and bought my first bike, so i will probably have a million stupid questions with regards to ownership, so please bear with me!
I decided that I had to make sure I got my own bike this year (before I hit the big four oh!) and after borrowing a mates ZZR1100 for a month while he was overseas last year, decided I had to have one of my own, so I just found a 99 model with low KLM's at the right price, and the rest as they say is history! (pick it up through the week)
Looking forward to getting out there and riding the wheels of this thing!

Hi Matt welcome

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
Can anyone tell me a good place to get the ZZR serviced in Northern Suburbs of Melbourne (I am in Reservoir),
or alternateivly places to AVOID???
I am gonna try and find / buy / steal a workshop manual and get basics done myself (oil filters etc) but for other stuff I would like to find a good dealer / Mechanic to keep it in shape

Thanks everyone, both for making me feel welcome, and for the great info.
I will be onto them in the next few days.
Well I picked up the bike tonight - right on peak hour, and still enjoyed the trip home LOL so I guess I will be stuck to it like glue for the rest of the week and take it for a ride over the weekend, now I will have to keep my eye out on the Rides section, and catch up with everyone!
