Hi from the gold coast
Posted: Sun Apr 13, 2008 8:56 amHey guys, my name is rhian. i just purchased my first bike from one of my good mates, he has recently upgraded to a 07 ninja and sold me his old 88 gpx250r-II for a bargain price.
basicly i have had a L plate for bikes for years and never ridden, decided over xmas to go and get my opens thru the q ride scheme, the guys up at Mt Cotton were fantastic in helping me out.
NOw i finally have a bike and the fun can start!
The bike needs a few things done )new chain guard, cush rubbers and fork seals)but nothing im sure i cant work out at home, thanks heaps for the links to the manuals guys, a great help.
I would greatly appreciate any info on decent bike mechanics or places to get parts on the coast.
well their we have it all in a nut shell im sure i will be around here for a while.
