had a look at 1300 kawasaki and their website is all branded with peter stevens logos everywhere.

i've been trying to get in touch with joe @ sharp tune, but havent had a call back from him. if he can match the deal, i'll be buying the bike from him.

i went down this afternoon to get my deposit back, because quite frankly, i do not want to give them my business anymore. the sales guy didnt want to give me my deposit back and tells me to come back tomorrow because i came in too close to closing time and it would take him 20 minutes to do the refund. then he spends 25 minutes arguing with me trying to convince me that i did something wrong.

as far as i am concerned, the facts are:

1. he sold me a bike
2. he took my deposit
3. he sold my bike to someone else 3 days later without asking/talking to me first.

honestly, anything else is just excuses. i dont care that i wouldnt have picked it up today (the agreement was that i would pick it up within 2 weeks). i dont care how soon he can get another one (next week). there is a reason why you put down a deposit. otherwise a deposit is pointless. what he did was simply unethical and bad business practice.

anyways, will head in tomorrow and see how it goes.. wish me luck

Good Luck...

From what I've heard of PS I would never buy from them, when they are sellin you are a bike theyre your best mate, soon as they have your money they dont want to know you.

This has been the case recently with one of my mates buying a bike from them with 3 month warranty and it had troubles, took him a week worth of phone calls to get any satisfaction, they have finally decided to take it back to have a look at it.

If you ever come to Bendigo there is a 250 ninja at the Kwaka dealer here for $6900 + ORC.

Oh...Welcome to the site Mel 8)

yea, thanks for the info guys. bendigo is tempting but a little far for me. hehehe. thanks anyways.

i popped down and got my refund first thing this morning. the sales guy's attitude changed a lot since yesterday. i think he was in a better mood this morning. he apologised for yesterday and said something about having a bad day because a customer was trying to screw him over. anyways, now that thats behind me...

i'm picking up my bike this afternoon!!! spoke to joe at sharp tune and he says kawasaki gave him an "extra" bike in this shipment that arrived yesterday, which he wasnt suppose to get. so i told him its mine. maybe its meant to be hey? lose one bike, another popped up. im excited - taking half day off work to pick it up :D :D :D

will post some pics up later! can't wait! now, who wants to teach me how to ride the damn thing? lol

right.. picked up the bike yesterday. even had a choice of getting a black ninja 250 but i stuck with the blue (joe @ sharp tune ended getting an unexpected "extra" black and blue in this months shipment).

funny thing, my bro came down when i was picking up the bike. he saw the black ninja just sitting there and we went back and put a deposit down on it today. so thats two ninjas sold in two days. plus dad will picking up another bike soon. so bad luck for peter stevens. do one stupid thing and missed out on three sales. wont matter to them though, since they are so big im sure it wouldnt make a difference.

well, here are some picks as promised.
