I'm a noob to KSRC but great to find somewhere where like minded Ninja-Heads can interact and share the passion of our green meanies!
Background....I've been off bikes for about 7 years whilst starting my family and moving over here from NZ. Prior to being confined to tintops for a few years getting the wedding, house, kids etc I have ridden a variety of bikes from a young age.
* First 'Big' Bike - 1983 Honda VF750F. Loved it, there is still something about the v-four even when I hear one now!
* Last bike before leaving for Aust and my first Ninja was a 1988 GPX750R, insane power compared to the VF and the flat powercurve made it so damn deceptive...I had gotten used to the 16' front wheel anyway with the VF, very sad to sell it prior to the move.
* Current bike, purchase on the weekend and my new pride and joy! is a 1995 ZXR 750 L3...not much riding under my belt on it yet, but good to get back in the saddle (although the saddle was more than a little bit 'sore' after riding it 200km home after a few years off it, not to mention the forearm pump!)
Looking forward to sharing with you guys and perhaps meeting you one day on the pac highway or wherever for a coffee and fun
