Did my p's on friday; my left hand was cayyyning after about 3 hours of slow riding practice.
That slow riding stuff could save you a lot of heartache if you get it down early on, and will make you a much more capable and comfortable rider

Do everything you can to avoid "the falls", but be prepared for replacing clutch/brake levers etc if it happens, and if it's going, let it go

I'd recommend doing some reading, and practicing the stuff from your L's course with purpose and focus while you remember it all and you're still new to it all like I still am. Once we're out of that "learners" period it'll probably take more effort to head out to practice when you just wanna "ride".
