Hi from Brisbane

Hi all,

I am very new to the bike scene. Have only had my restricted for around 6 months and cannot wait for the next 6 months to fly so i can go for my opens. I recently bought the new Ninja 300 as i wanted something great and potentially something i could get the missus on once i upgrade (fingers crossed). My previous riding experience consists of mostly dirtbikes, just riding around farms and what not.

I have been searching for a good forum and this one is a fantastic one. Hopefully get to meet new people and go for some rides. Are there many members from around Brisbane, QLD?

I don't know of many QLD rides that are posted up here on KSRC. I only do track days and I don't have a registered road bike (although I would like one). So can't help you with rides advice but might be able to help you out with anything else.

Occasionally done are posted here, lots of regular rides on BRC (brisbane Riders Club). PM me, or post on ride day section when you want to head out, I will if I can or some others will be keen. Look forward to seeing the new 300

The way the weather has been lately i would say your not missing much lately it doesnt know weather it wants to rain or be sunny...its a riders nightmare

I have been on the BRC forum badruss and have had a look around...will definately get involved. would be fun to have a group of kawasaki's riding around. where on the northside are you? i will be sure to get in touch one day when the weather decides what it wants to do.

Sounds good, I'm at Albany Creek, so fairly central this side of town. Look forward to catching up. My wife is a learner on a 08 Ninja 250, and will possibly tag along, safe riding
